1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Gridfix website and all associated content, guides, diagnostic tools, and community features (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. Gridfix reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Gridfix is a city-building game strategy guide designed to help players diagnose and fix infrastructure failures in city management games. The Service provides symptom-first troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, visual before-and-after solutions, diagnostic flowcharts, intervention guides, and a community platform where players document their diagnostic journeys and share solutions. Gridfix operates as an informational and educational resource for game players seeking practical advice on game mechanics and strategy.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to city-building game strategy and learning. Permitted activities include:

4. User-Generated Content

The Gridfix community section allows you to submit city screenshots, diagnostic notes, solutions, and other content (collectively, "User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Gridfix a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content on the Service and in promotional materials, with attribution where reasonably feasible. You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to submit all User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Gridfix Service, including but not limited to diagnostic guides, flowcharts, annotated city plans, before-and-after screenshots created by Gridfix, visual direction, typography, design, layout, and all text, is the exclusive property of Gridfix or its content creators and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or transmit any Gridfix-created content without express written permission, except as permitted under these Terms for personal, non-commercial use.

Gridfix does not claim ownership of screenshots or game content you create in your own city-building games. However, when you submit such content to the Gridfix community, you grant Gridfix the rights described in Section 4 above.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Gridfix does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components. Gridfix makes no warranty that the diagnostic advice, solutions, or troubleshooting guidance will resolve all infrastructure failures in your game, as outcomes depend on your game version, mods, playstyle, and other factors beyond Gridfix's control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gridfix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of game progress, lost time, or disappointment with game outcomes. In no event shall Gridfix's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any).

Gridfix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any city-building game developer or publisher. Game mechanics, balance changes, and updates may affect the applicability of Gridfix solutions over time.

7. Third-Party Links and Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, forums, or resources. Gridfix does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of third-party links is at your own risk and subject to their terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Infringe any intellectual property rights or third-party rights
• Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users or Gridfix staff

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Budapest, Hungary.
